1.      Draw the Lewis structure for each of the following compounds and ions and be sure to include formal charges and resonance structures if appropriate.  Be sure to show all bonding and nonbonding electrons.

2.  Using the provided modeling kits, construct a model for each compound, determine the electron pair geometry and molecular geometry, indicate the approximate bond angles and then determine if the molecule or ion is polar or nonpolar.
